100 (or 70) Days Testing - The stallion performance test. A
final group of approximately 50 - 60 stallions selected from the third
ring group to undergo the performance testing for evaluation as an Approved
breeding stallion with about 15 - 25 receiving the ‘Approved for Breeding’
status.
Depending upon the year of testing, a combination of the following
traits are scored:
W = walk
T = trot
G = canter
RT = riding test
J = jumping
FJ = free jumping
CC = cross country
C = character
SB = stable behavior
TR = training report
DT = dragging test
RT = ridability
PT = pulling ability
In 1993, the KWPN shortened the 100 Days Stallion Performance Test
to 70 days.
